Welcome to Free Ranger, your guide to Skylanders. This blog is named after the Swap Force Skylander, Free Ranger. Skylanders are toys that become alive when placed on the Portal of Power. They are digitized into he game, and then able to be played as.

Skylander Giants brought some bigger figures, or giants. These aren't the typical giant you may have heard about, these giants are kind, friendly giants, which have special powers that you can use in game.

The newest game is currently Giants, but at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) Activision, the company that created the Skylanders franchise, brought a new game called Skylanders Swap Force. Along with many new figurines, such as Free Ranger and Magna Charge. Pictures will be posted as they come. Swap Force are Skylanders that slip apart and can be joined to other Skylanders to create new Skylanders. From Free Ranger and Magna Charge you can create Magna Ranger and Free Charge, along with the original Skylanders that you pay for. The Swap Force characters, I've heard cost the price of the Giants (est $15).
